In the First Letter of John, the 3rd Chapter, it says, "See what love the Father has given us, that we should be called children of God; and so we are."
We are made children of God by Holy Baptism. Everyone on the world is special to God and loved for who they are. Everyone is particularly gifted. God calls us all to use our gifts to bring others to Christ.
